At first, it was four.Now?
I'm kind of proud of my friendship with Rev. Yes I know we didn't talk for months but you know after all, she's the one who has been standing by me. At times, I can't stand her that I don't even feel like sitting. At times, I'm just grateful.
The one who has been doing the craziest things with me.
The one who has seen me cry & comfort me.
The one who would have sleep overs and all.
The one who would eat my disgusting egg that I made for her for breakfast while walking to school, sec 1.
The one who bought me a barbie doll that I wanted for my birthday when I was 11 years old.
We met in XPS at maths remedial in 1999. We weren't even classmates that time.
She would teach me how to ride a bike. hehe. She's very patient with me okay!
She saw me fell on my bump down the slope on my blades.
She would bring me to her house for medication when I fell at the long kang near Parry Ave.
She dyed my hair last year.
She witnessed my naval piercing this year.
Where to find such friend?
Bestfriends for 7 years and still going on strong. She would call me once in a while or even drop by my place. Recently I called her for lunch and soon, she's coming over my place. Hey! I'm cooking for lunch okay?
I'm just so scared that 10 years down the road, I see my school mates and they ignore me or we just forgot that we actually know each other. The good times we spent dreaming and doing things that we never thought we could do. As we grow older, we're just separating. Everyone has their own priority of friends.

well, i learnt that friends do come and go and it takes alot to see who stays and who really is your friend. it isnt easy and these fears are normal.
when we all move on from the different stages of life, (hopefully) we learn from it and we carry these lessons. and these lessons can be painful or pleasant. it is usually bittersweet. and sometimes, its up to us to see if we want to cont to carry on the various friendships.
but, im glad you know who stood by you thru the different stages in your life. (: it comforts us, doesnt it? (:
and OHMYGOODNESSLA. you're 16! haha. oh gosh.. four years zoomed past like that. its been one heck of a journey yeah? (:

hey there!!
You know what's the funniest thing? You don't have to contact your loved ones everyday and you'll know they will always stand by you and will always be there to hear you.
I see and learnt a lot during my 4 years. Seeing my bestfriend growing and her reactions to changes showed me a lot about life.
Friends come and go and some will stay for good. Treasure those who stayed for good.(:
